We woke up at 9:30 and were out the door at 10:00 to go shopping at the world famous Champs-Elysees, and it was a lot of fun but very expensive. There are loads of massive designer stores like Louis Vitton and Valentino, which is cool because Paris is the fashion capital of the world. Anyways Emily and I bought crazy beautiful shoes that you could only buy in France! Woohoo, and after classes and dinner that day we went to the FIREMEN'S BALL!!! It was very exciting and fun, and we danced the night away, but were very tired by the end of it.
THURSDAY:
We were rudely awaken by our psycho roomate at 7:30 , got ready and left at 8:15 for the huge parade for BASTILLE DAY!! ooooohhh yeeaahhhhh, so basically the parade is very intense because if you want to watch you have to enter through the gate, and there are different sections where you can get in to watch but you get your bag checked and a body scan, and we stood behind some people watching for like a half an hour and then we saw a giant Haagen Daz's and decided to go in a get strawberry smoothies and crossiants, which were amazing. Then we walked around more and went shopping a little on Champs Elysees. Then we got really tired and went back to the hotel to take a nap, and I couldn't really sleep because our roomates were very loud but Emily slept for like 3 hours. Then we went out to dinner at the Chinese restaurant which was kinda gross, but thats okay. That night we went to the fireworks and the Eiffle tower which was amazing, but very very crowded. We came home very late around 1:30.
FRIDAY:
Today we slept in until 12 and had to make a wonderful drawing of the Eiffel tower and the Metro using our Sanguin, our art teacher loves us because we are her best students, lol jk . And after classes we went to the tourist stores and bought Shane and Maeve their presents , and now were are finishing the blog and going to dinner,
